Indigo’s UK-Wide Fundraising Adventure Is About to Begin
We are delighted to announce that Indigo, AuDHD UK’s mascot, is about to set off on a very special journey across the UK!
Over the coming weeks, Indigo will travel from event to event with our incredible volunteers, bringing together walks, runs, and community challenges to form one giant fundraiser for AuDHD UK.
At the heart of this campaign is a simple idea: one mascot, many volunteers, one shared purpose. Every mile completed, every event hosted and every donation received will help us continue building connection, advocating for meaningful change and working towards safer futures for autistic and ADHD people.
Why Indigo?
Indigo is more than a mascot. Dragons are often seen as different, misunderstood, or expected to fit a particular story — but they are also strong, imaginative, and entirely themselves.
That makes Indigo a fitting symbol for AuDHD UK and the community we support. We believe that autistic and ADHD people should not be expected to hide who they are or change themselves to be accepted. Everyone deserves understanding, dignity, timely support and the freedom to be themselves.
As Indigo travels around the country, our hope is that this little blue dragon will spark conversations, raise awareness and remind people that community, kindness and understanding can make a meaningful difference.
Meet the Volunteers
We are incredibly grateful to the five volunteers who have already signed up to take Indigo on an adventure. Their events will help launch a UK-wide fundraiser built on generosity, determination and community spirit.
Georgina, CEO & Founder of AuDHD UK — a 7.5-mile walk with Indigo
Andy, Trustee at AuDHD UK — a 5km run with Indigo
Adam, Chair of Trustees at AuDHD UK — 100-mile bike ride with Indigo
Emma, Researcher at AuDHD UK — 10-mile run with Indigo
Natalie, Peer Support Worker at AuDHD UK — a half marathon with Indigo
Every event will be different, but they are all connected by the same goal: raising vital funds for AuDHD UK and helping our work reach further.
Why Your Support Matters
AuDHD UK is on a mission to end autism and ADHD-related suicides in the UK, and works to support autistic and ADHD people through assessment support, community, and advocacy. We want a future where people are met with neuro-affirming understanding and care — rather than being left to navigate misunderstanding, isolation, or long waits for help.
Donations from Indigo’s adventure will help us continue that work. Whether you are able to give £5, £25, or simply share this fundraiser with others, you are helping our volunteers turn their efforts into real support and lasting impact.
