Fundraising & Partnerships Lead

Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)
Reports to: CEO
Commitment: Flexible, part-time (details negotiable)
Role: Unpaid volunteer position
Purpose: To develop and manage AuDHD UK’s fundraising strategy and partnerships, fostering relationships, coordinating events, supporting community fundraising, and empowering ambassadors to maximise the charity’s impact and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, community partners, and stakeholders through regular communication and networking.

  • Represent AuDHD UK at relevant events, and partnership opportunities.

Event Coordination

  • Plan, organise, and deliver fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, volunteer coordination, and post-event reporting.

  • Collaborate with the Communications & Marketing team to maximise event reach and engagement.

Community Fundraising Coordination

  • Support and coordinate community-led fundraising initiatives, ensuring all activities are compliant with fundraising regulations and charity policies.

  • Provide guidance and resources to individuals and groups fundraising on behalf of AuDHD UK.

Ambassador Management

  • Recruit, train, and support fundraising ambassadors, monitoring targets and providing regular feedback.

Additional Duties

  • Contribute to the development of fundraising strategies and income targets.

  • Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities and donor relationships.

  • Identify new fundraising and partnership opportunities to support the charity’s mission.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Experience in fundraising, partnership management, or event coordination (charity sector experience desirable).

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to motivate and support volunteers and ambassadors.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

  • Creative, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Commitment to AuDHD UK’s mission and values.

  • Lived experience of AuDHD or neurodivergence (desirable).

Time Commitment Estimate

  • Relationship building: 6–8 hrs/month

  • Event coordination: 10–15 hrs/event

  • Community fundraising coordination: 6–8 hrs/month

  • Ambassador management: 3–5 hrs/month
