Apply for Funding
We believe everyone deserves access to a timely and thorough assessment for autism and ADHD. If you’re unable to cover the cost of a private assessment yourself, we may be able to offer some financial support.
What We Fund
Our funding helps cover the cost of adult autism, ADHD, and AuDHD assessments with qualified professionals. It’s designed to remove financial barriers and extensive waiting times to make it easier for you to get the answers and support you need.
What We Cannot Fund
Our funding is only available for assessments delivered by our partner organisation, MOAI. Unfortunately, we can’t provide funding for other services like therapy, medication, or ongoing support. If you’re sure whether your request qualifies, please get in touch with us before applying.
Please note: We cannot fund or refer those under the age of 18.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply for funding if:
You’re over 18 and live in the UK.
You suspect you may be autistic and/or ADHD, or have been advised to seek an assessment.
You’re unable to afford the full cost of a private assessment.
You’re not currently able to access a timely or appropriate assessment through the NHS or local services.
Important Notice
We have had to temporarily pause all new applications due to high demand to help prevent burnout in our staff and volunteers. Email replies may also be slower at this time.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and hope to be back at full capacity soon.
Thank you for your understanding.

How Assessment Funding is Prioritised
We are committed to supporting as many people as possible, but as a small charity, we currently receive more applications for assessment funding than we can meet. To ensure our resources are used fairly and effectively, we prioritise funding based on risk and need.
Our prioritisation process includes:
Assessment of Risk: We carefully review each application to identify those at highest risk, including individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges or safeguarding concerns.
Level of Need: We consider the urgency of each applicant’s situation and the impact that a delayed assessment may have on their wellbeing.
Available Resources: We match our funding to the current capacity of our clinical partners and the overall funding we have available.
While we do our best to support everyone who applies, we sometimes need to adjust our waiting list if someone’s circumstances change or new information comes to light. If your situation changes while you are on our waiting list, please let us know so we can reassess your priority.
Our goal is to ensure that those who need support most urgently receive it as quickly as possible, while still providing clear information and support to everyone who applies.
